Lisbon was the backdrop for the European High Frequency Radar meeting and the 7th EuroGOOS conference – Operational Oceanography for Sustainable Blue Growth.
EuroGOOS and EMODnet Physics have set up a High Frequency Radar task team, a first of its kind, to organize the community. It was a huge success with over 50 participants representing France, Germany, Greece, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, and the United States; 15 Institutions; and Industry representatives from CODAR Ocean Sensors, LTD, US, Qualitas Instruments, and WERA
