EMODnet Physics and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) becomes effective on 25 May 2018. The aim is to protect all (EU) citizens by making data processing transparent.

In order to enable us to continue to send you our EMODnet Physics news we kindly ask you to carefully read our Data Privacy Policy and give us your consent to process your data, by following the instructions below:

Your email address is part of the EMODnet Physics mailing list which allows us to send you important EMODnet Physics and its network related communications.
Your data kept by us in this mailing list may include your name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, job title, and information about the sector you work in. Under the GDPR you have the right to know what personal data we collect and store and you may request a copy at any time. You are also entitled to have personal data corrected, you may request us to delete your data and/or you can object to certain personal data being used or, where applicable, ask us to restrict the processing of personal data.

Your data kept by us are also shared with the EMODnet Secretariat

In view of the entry into force of  the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) on 25 May, we take the opportunity to pro-actively inform you about your subscription to this mailing list and help you unsubscribe if you wish to do so.

If you wish to be kept on this mailing list you don't have to do anything. Although you can remove yourself from the list at anytime, there may be occasion when you request the list-moderator do it for you. We agree on such occasion to remove you as soon as practical. Each newsletter/email includes instructions on how to unsubscribe from the service.
